“I found this conditioner to be really good for dry hair...I particularly use this on my daughters. They have really thick dry hair (10 and 8) they love the smell, it helps detangle and it leaves it really soft. I am also teaching them about ethical beauty so LUSH is a family favourite.” - Jesse_hp
“I pair this with Cynthia Sylvia Stout shampoo. I have very long hair, which is prone to being greasy and the roots and dry on the lengths. I apply this condition just to the lengths; it's lightweight and makes my hair really luscious.” - Pisky
"This is my perfect conditioner. I have very long hair that would get greasy at the roots, yet, dry at the ends. This conditioner is lightweight enough not to pull the hair flat yet conditioning enough to make the lengths of my hair silky smooth. The smell is incredible, it lasts until the next wash of my hair! "- laurahenshaw.lh
"This stuff is amazing for very dry, brittle hair that knots up very easily and honestly I actually only have to use a coin sized amount and it just works wonders!" - SerenM
How to use:
After shampooing, squeeze out excess water before sweeping a desired amount through the mid-lengths and ends of your hair.

I have fine hair that can get quite greasy and heavy when using conditioner. However, this product is not like any that I have used previously. It smells amazing and you only need to use a small amount to have full coverage. The price is probably more that what I would like to spend, however due to the small amount...

Pretty please Lush, can you sell this conditioner in a tub? The conditioner is very thick, and therefore difficult to get out of the plastic bottles. I would love to be easily able to scoop this amazing product out of a tub, and use it as a deep conditioner. Think of the environment! Bringing the product into the rewards scheme would mean that more black pots get brought back to the store and recycled, instead of ending up in people's recycling bags with wasted product inside!

I have very wavy, frizzy hair that takes a lot of product to keep tamed. American Cream is the first conditioner I've tried from Lush and I am amazed at how well it keeps my frizz under control without leaving my hair a greasy mess. I only need to use a small amount (about a 10p coin size) and my hair is left feeling soft and smoothed. I also like the fact it's sold in a bottle as I'm not too keen on pressed conditioner bars.

I have fine hair, but lots of it which has been assaulted with bleach and dye. Every time I tell a Lush worker this, they always hype up this conditioner, since it’s their most popular one, claiming it’s the pinnacle of restoration. However my hair doesn’t have the shine or softness when using this product, opposed to using other conditioners, nor does it feel anymore restored or protected. It’s very creamy, but doesn’t give the affects that I’m looking for in a conditioner. Although it’s very light, creamy and lightly vanilla-pie-esque scented so I can see why it’s popular.Read More
