This charcoal cleanser is for those who really like to scrub their skin. With rhassoul mud to deeply cleanse while sandalwood and rosewood oils give a rich, earthy fragrance and have a cooling and antiseptic effect on the skin. Black sugar buffs and exfoliates for bright, refreshed skin.
- Rhassoul mud is a natural mineral product that cleanses skin effectively and helps remove grease.
- Organic avocado oil moisturises and softens skin. It contains natural unsaturated fatty acids and is known to help reduce age spots and the appearance of scars.
- Absorbent powdered charcoal is sourced from the Dorset woodland and is ultra-cleansing and mattifying on your skin.
- Rosewood oil is thought to have antibacterial properties, meaning it helps to balance skin as well as add a woody fragrance.
How to use: Take a pinch of cleanser and a little water in your palm and work together into a paste. When you're happy with the texture, massage over your face and body before gently washing away with warm water. Follow with other clarifying products such as Prince of Darkness fresh face mask and Enzymion facial moisturiser for bright, glowing skin.

The first time I used this, I admit, I was sceptical- I mean, the stuff's black for a start. But, blimey!

I love this! It gives a perfect cleanse without drying out your skin. The sugar is so fine that the exfoliation feels really thorough but also gentle and it feels like my skin is being polished. It completely washes the day away. A lovely sweet spice earthy fragrance aswel. One thing to note is that you will be left with a patchy black areas where the charcoal clings- I just give my face a wee rub with some Kalamazoo and good rinse afterwards to lift any residue.

I have a sample of this and I started using it yesterday after a massive spot is growing on my chin, I've used it twice but watery than they do as I'm not big on physical exfoliants on my face. My chin spot is still there but my skin looks so radiant. Hopefully with time my chin will clear up. It also smells really nice without being overpowering.
