Fairly Traded Honey

Nectar of the locks

For gorgeously soft, sexy shiny hair, who better than the birds and the bees to help us? Fairly Traded honey makes up more than half of this shampoo to replenish moisture and add shine, and there’s also beeswax and lots of floral essential oils to bring to mind a summer meadow. Honey really is the bees knees, which is why we've used plenty here: it’s self preserving, and a natural humectant, which helps your hair to attract and retain moisture.

Title says it all. I've been using this for years and nothing else ever comes close. It smells amazing. It lathers up beautifully with only a small amount of product. Hair feels clean and soft everytime.

This is great for dry or coloured hair as it's nourishing and cleans without making hair feel dried out or like it has a film on it. You only need a little and although i'm not normally keen on the smell of honey, this actually doesn't offend me as it's 'disguised' with other natural fragrances that compliment each other. Bit pricier than other LUSH shampoos but well worth it if you have dry or coloured hair and it lasts a fair while if you use it sparingly as suggested on the packaging.

I have thick brunette hair, my 4 year old daughter has very fine blonde hair and this is our shampoo!

We love the smell, the lather, and the gorgeous soft shiny hair we get at the end. We both team it with American Cream conditioner, and the overall smell combo is just so beautiful that I don't think we'll ever want to change! We buy the biggest bottle, and as you only need a very small amount to get a good lather, I'd say this is good value for money, despite using what feels like a luxurious product.

I used to have blonde highlights on natural auburn, and lovely long thick curly (ringlet) hair. But it seems blonde (prior to that bleach) damages hair, it became brittle and thin as it started falling out in great clumps. I tried various Lush products to help, and they did, but not enough. So my hairdresser recommended I dye my hair all one colour to improve the condition (I chose red spur of the moment), it came our very bright, but this made my Daddy-O shampoo unsuitable, so I went to Lush in Lincoln, where a lovely lady recommended Fairly Traded Honey, and what a transformation!
