Slap Stick 1C
So you want a breathable foundation with buildable coverage and a natural cool undertone - a foundation that looks incredible, feels invisible and does amazing things for your skin. But what you normally get is heavy foundation that clogs, cakes or doesn’t quite give you the coverage you want or the ingredients your skin would really appreciate. Until now.
Say hello to post-facial radiance - skin so dewy you could have just hit the spa and ingredients so luxurious they hydrate, soften and rejuvenate with every application. With 40 shades available (also with warm and neutral undertones) to cater for every complexion, your skin’s never had it this good before.
Each Lush Slap Stick is an enriching, highly buildable blend of coveted artisan ingredients and pigment, packed with softening nut oils to make your complexion glow. This medium-coverage foundation, composed of 14% pigment and 45% Indonesian coconut oil, makes mask-like foundations a thing of the past, keeping your complexion looking fresh all day long at no compromise to your preferred level of coverage.
So what’s in it for your skin? Peruvian jojoba oil - a oil similar to the skin’s natural sebum - ensures your chosen pigment blends beautifully, while a rich, protective recipe of candelilla, sunflower and Turkish rose waxes keep your colour looking impeccable. With your look perfected, exquisite extra virgin coconut oil from Indonesia gets to work hydrating and soothing your complexion (with 10% of the local producer's profits funding literacy classes and a dentist on the island of Nias). Finally, argan oil expertly harvested by a women’s co-operative in Morocco quenches thirsty faces and delivers a gorgeous glow you’ll notice when you remove your makeup. Such nourishing ingredients make every application a luxury, and ensure you feel just as confident barefaced as full-faced.

I went to the pop up to find my perfect shade and I was really excited about a solid foundation from Lush. I miss Jackie Oats and was hoping this would be the next best thing. Unfortunately, it wasn't.
The color was perfect and it goes on easy. I have some larger pores on my nose and the Slap Stick accentuated them greatly; the foundation filled in the pores and it seemed like the rest of my skin absorbed the rest. It looked like I had a bunch of light dots all over my nose. I tried this with and without a primer underneath, same problem.

Saying much the same as a lot of others here! As a pale English girl I've always found it super difficult to find a foundation that doesn't make me look horribly orange, and this is absolutely perfect for me. The formula takes a bit of getting used to if you're used to liquid foundations like I was, but I'm never using anything else again!

Fantastic, I thought. Finally there's a slap stick that has no plastic holder. Using the slap stick was another matter. And no matter what way I tried it, it was awful.
First I tested it straight on my skin to see how it blended and whether it would need a primer. The colour was perfect for my pale English rose skin.
