Jackie Oates - Saturnine

A love letter to the west country of England, Saturnine features songs, tunes and musicians of the region. Also a reflection of the interests enveloping Jackie at the time, in her own words, “The songs, their arrangements and instrumentation, and the album artwork are the result of a frenzy of current fascinations from viols, hand bells, eccentric percussion to the Saturn return, Joseph Cornell and Alphonse Mucha.”
