Soft, green shoots entwined with heavy concrete - a romance of earth and stone imagined in sweet, green hues. Sweet violets border the kerbs; tenacious in their delicacy, earnest little faces fragile enough to crush underfoot. Look closer. See how the petals flush with colour and dew hangs at the throat of each bud. See how the violets spread, mycellium-like, through an urban jungle, adorning avenues of gravel and brick with purple plumage. A tentative springtime imagined in perfume, still tempered by morning frosts, but with the promise of summer to come.

I like violet scented products and regularly use Sugar Daddy-O. So on my last visit to Lush I decided to try this out.
When I first sprayed it onto my skin I hated it as I just got a very strong smell of grass. But after it had settled I got this beautiful violet scent! I would describe it as an unusual yet sophisticated violet, so it does not smell as child-like as palma violets.
Honestly the scent was memorising to me. And my jumper still smelt of it for about a week after.
This is one I will be adding to my Christmas list. There really is just no other violet scent quite like it.

I usually buy this product from my local "Lush " shop- I ordered on line recently. The packaging has changes and so has the smell!!- It smells very different , not so "Violety" and the other day. someone asked me if I had Patchouli oil on !!- People have always complimented me on the smell of this product- but not so, since purchasing my last one online-Has something different been added to it-Or changed????
