Lemony Flutter

Cuticle Butter

Takes care of the hard stuff

Perfect for softening our hardest bits: knees, elbows, heels, brittle nails and cuticles finally get the attention they deserve. Lemony Flutter revives a traditional method of cream-making that even the Romans would recognise. A little goes a long way, and within just a few applications, those neglected areas will be rejuvenated and smelling delicious, just like lemon curd.

Smells amazing. A little goes a long way. I dab a bit at the base of my nail and then rub it in. The smell lasts for ages, a lovely zingy, fresh lemony smell. I've been using it inconsistently for just under a year, and I've still got most of the pot left. It's made my nails so lovely and...

I bought this purely as a hand cream as my skin had become very dry and itchy due to over use of alcohol gels and soap thanks to my job. After one application I noticed the difference! It smells fantastic and a tiny bit really does go a long way. I can see this product lasting me for a long time. I was also impressed by how quickly this sinks in. One of the reasons I have put off using hand creams for so long is I have never been able to find one that doesn't leave a greasy residue on your hands for ages afterwards.

This stuff is kind of magic, really. I've been struggling with nail biting throughout my life and now that I am getting over this bad habit, I'm trying to take better care of my nails. Lemony Flutter is really the best thing that could have happened to them - over the years my nails have become quite thin and brittle from the biting, however using this consistently over my cuticles and the nail plates themselves has made them so much stronger and flexible, meaning they break less. Breaking less means less rough edges and fewer triggers, so I'm obviously very happy!

It's OK but it's definitely not worth all the hype that Lush give it. You only need a little when using it but I don't agree with what it says in the tub it comes in, the 'top tip' that is on the side of the black tub it comes in which actually isn't a tip more a self praise from Lush, the lemon fragrance for me did not make me want to keep sniffing myself, intact quite the opposite. This product would have been a million times better with no fragrance.
