Lip Block

Do it yourself

From the frostiest pink to the sassiest fuchsia, tailormade colour is at your fingertips. Whip up a rosy storm or a pale pastel according to your mood, by simply running a lip brush (or a clean finger) around the inside well of your lipstick block and warming the pigments. Then simply pick and mix your colour, dabbling with a plummy purple, plush coral and a touch of white to sweeten up your lips.
Organic jojoba oil and orange peel wax ensure that your lips stay soft and kissable and create a lasting, hydrating base, packed full of rose and candelilla waxes for good measure!
To reduce plastic waste, this palette lives in a recycled cardboard box for when you're on the go.

I don't tend to wear lipstick very often so when I saw this I couldn't pass up the opportunity to buy something that would allow me to customise the shade and depth I wanted depending on the circumstance. It is quite easy to apply - in my opinion easier when you already have lip balm on than on bare lips and feels good when it's on. It's easy to blend with my fingers but I will probably get a brush as it obviously stains my finger. I am tempted to get the neutral one too. I like the box it comes in but imagine if it wasn't in a makeup bag or pouch it would get damaged over time.
