I fell in love with this moisturizer when I moved climates. I moved from a humid region of the US to a less humid- but more hot region. My skin quickly became dry, brittle, easily cracked and would turn raw even. Imperialis is the first moisturizer that leaves my skin soft, supple and even toned. Throughout the day my skin...

I was in the market for a new moisturiser. Something natural that would make me feel nourished but not too greasy.
Having looked at the list of ingredients on plenty of other brands, I wasn't happy with all the crazy lists of chemicals.
Like many of the Lush moisturisers, this one is packed with oils, so anyone who thinks a bunch of natural oils might upset their skin; keep this in mind.
I initially did what everyone does, scooped out a blob of it and went to town. Don't. This moisturiser is so nourishing that you only need to dip the tiniest dot on all fingertips and that's truly enough.

Initially I was concerned after hearing St Johns wort could counteract the pill however I decided to go for it since it is only being applied to the face and not being ingested- and I am so happy I did!
When the little pot arrived in the post I was dubious about how long this would last as and whether it would burn my face as I am known for incredibly sensitive skin which burns with sensitive skin products weirdly.

This is an amazingly light moisturiser, and probably the best under makeup.
But I also think this needs to be in a bottle with a pump rather than a flat tub. Lost lots of product due to that several times.
