Breath Of God perfume

Critically acclaimed, perfectly balanced perfume. This complex and distinctive fragrance is the marriage of the light-as-air, fruity ‘Inhale’ and woody, grounded ‘Exhale’, together forming a mysterious and smoky perfume inspired by incense. A counterpoint of light and dark, it develops differently on everyone who wears it.

I was given a sample pot of this and I have to say that it's my new favourite perfume. The sandalwood undertones are perfect. It makes me feel like I'm walking in a woodland field. Another must have next time I go shopping

I bought the solid stick of this upon reading Luca Turin's and Tania Sanchez's review in the famous perfume guide. I was intrigued, they don't give out 5 stars easily. I was shocked at first, it just smelled like something burning, sudden and not very pleasant. But then...
Cold water. Something burning, somewhere. Cucumber. Wood. Old books. A winter garden in the rain. Leather. The thought of cold ham. Dried roses. Heavy, but light. Subtle, but a definite presence. Elusive, glimpsed. Deep. Grey light through old windows. Amazing.

I remember smelling all the Lush perfumes one day and finding them all to be either way too sweet or way too strong and overpowering. Then I came to Breath of God and the second I smelled it I was in love. It's hard to describe what it smells like except to say that it's very earthy yet refreshing at the same time, and I kept going back to the bottle to smell it again. I love the fact that it's unisex and not too sweet, as i've never been a fan of very flowery or fruity perfumes.
