I had a sample of this come in with my kitchen order and it smells like heaven. It has sort of a caramel/earthy scent to it that I absolutely adore. I just wish it was sold in my local shops since I live in California

I was really excited to try this product and I was disappointed to find it smelled nothing like oranges.

The smell is earthy and not unpleasant. I was just hoping for something fresh and citrusy. The consistency of the roulade is nice and produces a creamy lather that leaves skin soft. Fortunately in this case, the smell does not linger after showering. But that may be a bad thing if you enjoy the fragrance. Needless to say, I will not be repurchasing.

The scent of this roulade sits somewhere between cream of tomato soap and dried orange slices you may know from your christmas decoration. It is not a fresh orange scent.
I would describe the "cream of tomato soap" element as a herbal, vinegar scent you either love or hate. So if you like this soap, this smoothie will surely not disappoint you. If found it lovely on the skin, more moisturizing than the potted smoothies Lush had in line before they invented the solid smoothies. I think this works best in late summer or autumn, scent wise.

First of all, Orange Roulade smells nothing like oranges or citrus. It does not have a nice smell at all. To me, it smells like dead flowers with a hint of smoke. Nothing about the scent is uplifting and it is not something I would want to smell like. In terms of effectiveness, this roulade is not particularly moisturizing, which is upsetting because it is labeled as a "shower moisturizer." Yeah right! I find that it isn't any better than your average soap. Foams nicely, cleans well, nothing more. Definitely not worth £11.94.
