A calming room of freshly cut flowers.

Heady jasmine and ylang ylang combine with sweet rose to form a bouquet that is overpowering at first and then comforting as it settles on the skin. Let this floral perfume transport you to a serene space where the fullness of beauty and its inevitable decay can be contemplated without fear. The message is one of meditation, acceptance and optimism delivered in a glorious, floral flourish.

You’ll love this if you like:
- Strong floral perfumes that last all day.
Jasmine and Henna Fluff-ease, or Lust perfume.
- Surrounding yourself in a sense of calm and optimism.

I asked for a sample of this as I was intrigued by the name and it smells amazing! It's heady and heavy when you get close but very discreet at the same time. Perfect for winter!

While the scent of Death and Decay is lovely, I can't help feeling like the formula was very watery and the scent was not long lasting. This almost seems like a scented rosewater as opposed to a "perfume". I was actually expecting a more oil based consistency, looking at the dropper applicator, but it is like a body splash, not even a perfume feel when you apply. It just drips everywhere, and it didn't even stain my clothes when it dropped on my shirt. Hmmm. And it may be my pH, but the scent did not last on me for more than an hour, if that.

This is a heady potent floral that stands shoulders with many of the great perfume houses IMHO. A lady from my ballet class - we are all fragrance freaks - thought this was the legendary Quelques Fleurs and could not believe it was a Lush fragrance. Off she has trotted to purchase it. For some reason this makes me think of a bunc of lillies and other white flowers being given to you in a black studded leather gloved hand. You only need a drop - this is strong stuff but gorgeous! Not like any of the other Lush scents I have smelled so far.

This new spray version smells similar to the old solid perfume but less "soapy". It definitely smells more on the floral side and the scent, when sprayed on clothes, lingers for days (and weeks in case of my coat). This is my absolute favourite lush product ever and I’m so happy they brought it back.
