Flower's Barrow
Perfume

A fresh and floral fragrance with a heart of blackcurrant.
Bask in the hue of a summer’s meadow and a tide of balancing rose and grounding blackcurrant. A sea breeze sweeps subtle notes of sweet geranium and chamomile through grassy headlands and brambly hedgerows.
You’ll love this if you like:
-Juicy blackcurrant scents.
-Exploring the English coastline.
All perfumes come in a complementary recyclable gift box.

Admittedly I took a chance an ordered this online after reading reviews. It was a good omen when the postman arrived and commented how good the package smelled and he had enjoyed the fragrance in the van ( only this item and packaged to perfection). Its a very complex fragrance- I don't agree with reviews that just describe it as...

This is a beautiful lament, it's like gently bowing close to the earth to drink in a wild meadow at dawn in early summer. It's flowery, herbal, a hint of blackcurrant still on the hedgerow, a deserted country lane, a derelict cottage all on its own with the gently sloping fertile fields stretching out to meet the light blue sky. It's Tess Durbeyfield at the May Day dance.

I discovered the delightful "Flower's Barrow" several years ago when I first saw that Lush had launched the "Gorilla Perfume" range. My sister and I stood for what seemed like hours, sniffing all the amazing fragrances, with their imaginative names. After much deliberation, I narrowed it down to 2, and bought the perfume oil in tiny bottles. This fast became my all-time a favoutire fragrance, even beating "Karma" which I wore all through my teens and do still love, but it doesn't get a look-in now with this on hand.
