Warm, natural and unique.

Like a morning walk through the wet forest, or warm summer winds ruffling through layers, fresh English peppermint bursts through like crisp cold winds, while smoky oakwood and bay bring depth and warmth, evoking the sense of a changing season.

You’ll love this if you like:
- Fragrances with complex layers.
- Devil's Nightcap perfume.
- Embracing each season.

Last night there was a bonfire and your clothes are still smoky... It was raining earlier and you can still smell damp earth, damp clean hay, leaves, that rain smell (you know the one I mean) but now the sun is out and warming up the herby meadows all around and the wind is carrying the smell into the village,...

I suppose you could take the title two ways: just before a storm or as summer goes into autumn and winter. Honestly this perfume works both ways. It can be a bit minty when you first put it on but then the smokiness kicks in and you get a very fresh and sweet smokey scent. It's almost like standing in a field at dusk just before it starts raining. Or going to a bonfire and the smell of the fire as it mingles with the crisp night air.

Right, so my love affair with this particular sent came when I was visiting my favourite store (shout out Bath!) a few months prior. The name grabbed me straight away, I am a sucker for all things autumn, Halloween, witchy and that’s what I took away from this scent straight away. At £125 a pop it was a pricey investment however and so I walked away. I didn’t stop thinking about it for a good solid month - long story short I went back and snapped it up straight away. This scent is the snuggly, smokey, fresh scent of my witchy dreams.
