Bubble Spinner

Daydream I fell asleep amid the flowers
pink petitgrain bubble spinner

For a couple of hours, lay back and indulge in pink waters covered in soft, fluffy bubbles. Calming petitgrain oil works its wonders on worries and cares, the woody scent evoking images of summer walks through citrus groves. Meanwhile, refreshing grapefruit oil lifts moods high above the clouds of the day, bringing with it memories of breakfasts taken on warm, sunlit verandas. Hold this flower under running water and let it spin and build bubbles before breathing deeply and allowing yourself to be transported away on a cheerful, summer breeze.

I thought this was going to be a bit of fun, a toy to amuse but I wasn't expecting it to be anything really special product-wise. I was wrong, it smells divine and produces a good amount of bubbles. This smells exactly like the Antiope solid shower gel that came out around springtime 2018 (an Easter or Mothers Day product?). I kind of expected something a bit more...floral and girly, considering the pink flower shape of the product. I’m also a bit disappointed at the high price tag for this palm sized bubble bar- I’ll definitely use the whole thing in a single bath. It is pretty and spins, but unless you’re really into the Antiope scent, I’m not sure why else you’d purchase this one. If you want a pink bath, the Rose Jam bubbleroon will stretch longer & smell better.

I used it as a "bath cocktail" (without cutting it up of course) with Oil on Troubled Water (added the oil only once I was happy with the bubbles) and it was one of the loveliest baths I've ever had. And the fact that it spins is hilarious.

If you are feeling that the world is a little too much and you are just wanting to add a whimsical sense of fun to the bath tub. These spinners are great. Not only do they makes lots of bubbles. But they are fun and relaxing to play with under the tap and they all smell really nice too.
