I picked this bar up at lush oxfordstreet. I immediately fell in love after the first time of using it and went right back to get a second one because this bar has never been available in Austria (where I come from). It smells so good and really helps with the definition of my curls. My scalp loves it too,...

In an effort to reduce our household plastic consumption I decided to try a non-Lush shampoo bar and it was a disaster. The bar left my hair feeling disgusting..... coated in some kind of sticky goo. I even tried a diluted vinegar rinse which apparently can be used to remove said sticky residue but this just made my scalp flake. I had almost given up on the idea then I stumbled across some shampoo bars in Lush which were also SLS free (added bonus of removing the requirement for palm oil).

I’ve been keen to find a shampoo bar that works for my dyed red hair, so far most are too drying and strip the colour - this one seems better so far, but is still a little drying. But not as bad as most of the others. Doesn’t seem to strip the colour too much, but I do need to try it out for a bit longer. I have to use a very good and hydrating frizz ease container (bought from elsewhere, not a Lush product) to be able to continue using the shampoo bar, otherwise my hair turns to straw. If you have coloured hair and want to try a bar I’d go for this one first.
