Vegan Protein Shampoo

Colours of the world!
silica vegan protein shampoo

Whether you're pink, blue, or rainbow-hued, keep your hair bright and looking as fresh as the day you dyed it. A gentle lather with this refreshing spearmint oil and thyme absolute shampoo is all you need to keep colour in mint condition.

Protein-rich aquafaba with silken tofu adds softness and strength to the hair helping to prevent breakage. A more conditioning wash thanks to a combination of horsetail herb and linseed oil and extract which brings slip as well as boosting the tensile strength of the hair.

How to use:

Lather directly onto wet hair and work through, rinsing away thoroughly before conditioning as usual. When rinsing, slow down and enjoy it! You’ll notice how the lather turns into a conditioning rinse for the hair, think of it as a pre-con, priming you for the final event, aka conditioner! Depending on the length of your hair, you will enjoy between 50-100 washes from each 100g bar. Cold pressed raspberry seed oil helps to protect hair, ensuring your colour doesn't fade in the sun and sticks around for as long as possible.

My hair is healthy, shiny, smooth looking! Have blond highlights and this shampoo does magic, they not dry, dull, they full of life and the volume! The scent reminds me of dirty solid perfume! Wish this product could make it to the shop and online on permanent basis!!! In love....

I was very excited to try this shampoo protein square! Have blond highlights and my hair is little dry but after use they smooth, shiny, full of life! After few circles it was quiet foamy so hopefully will last me for a long time! It smells to me like dirty solid perfume which I love! Could make a way to shops to be a permanent product! I do love it! No need for conditioner :)

I have long thick and wavy hair and I've been dyeing it with Lush's henna for 7 years now. The lengths of my hair have layers of color by now but I'm always on a lookout for shampoos that won't strip color from my roots and the baby hair around my face. Silica is one of very few shampoos that does what it promises as far as color protection. I can stretch the time between colorings a little longer which is huge. If you ever colored with cacas then you know the whole operation will take half a day if you want the effect to last a few weeks.

The smell of this shampoo is much too strong for me and makes me sneeze, and unfortunately as it contains sodium sulphates it won’t be a regular shampoo for me as these straighten out my wavy fine hair and leave it frizzy. That being said, it is my favourite of all non-liquid shampoos I’ve tried for travelling as it’s very easy to work up a lather and actually leaves my hair feeling clean. I’ve found it’s best not to hold it directly under the shower water, but lather it on wet hands and work that into the hair from there. I keep it in an old Tupperware and always leave to air dry after use.
