Do no palm
SOS Shampoo Bar

Take a journey into the depths of the Indonesian rainforest and help the Sumatran Orangutan Society and the Orangutan Information Centre save the critically endangered orangutan. Moringa seed powder from Ghana is well known for purifying water, leaving hair clean and beautifully perfumed with evocative patchouli and uplifting Brazilian orange oils. Forget the palm oil, you'll find none here.

Thanks to the support from our customers during the 2017 campaign, SOS, working alongside the Orangutan Information Centre were able to purchase a 50 hectare plot of palm plantation to return to natural rainforest. With another opportunity to purchase a second plot,100% of the money (minus VAT) from this shampoo bar will be donated to SOS. To find out more, click here

I love this product. I am very passionate about wildlife and try to avoid palm oil at all costs. It's one of the reasons I love Lush - not only are they cruelty free, predominately vegan (and 100% vegetarian), fairtrade and often give to charity - they also don't use destructive palm oil. I love the fact they are bringing more awareness to the issue with their Orangutan soaps but now they have this amazing solid shampoo too! I hope it's a permanent feature as I will always go for this shampoo bar.
