Cherish your skin with a gourmet lather made of Japanese rapeseed oil for the ultimate creamy wash. A delicate blend of silken tofu and pioppino mushrooms will further soften the skin. Delicately perfumed with orange flower absolute to add a little sunniness to your day. Japanese rapeseed is grown by a small collective of farmers in the Fukushima nuclear disaster area in Japan, where the plant is able to regenerate the land by cleansing the soil of radiation and securing the community with a future.

I must admit I was very hesitant to buy this soap as I have only seen it reviewed once and it wasn’t entirely positive, but going by the scent alone I decided to give it a try and OH MY GOD it smells amazing, I have never smelt anything like Drop of Hope... it’s so floral yet earthy (I can only describe the earthy as a fresh mushroom smell), I can’t understand how more people haven’t spoken about this soap?! It’s been around for ages! It doesn’t lather the best on the body but it’s not bad by any means! A lot of the cult favourite soaps from lush are so much worse.

I have very sensitive, dry, reactive and eczema prone skin and I gave up using soap years ago, and instead have used emollient soap substitutes. I always found that the many soaps I had used in the past burnt my skin or caused it to become drier, redder and more irritated.
