Tsunagaru Omoi
Drop of Hope gourmet soap

Cherish your skin with a gourmet lather made of Japanese rapeseed oil for the ultimate creamy wash. A delicate blend of silken tofu and pioppino mushrooms will further soften the skin and bestow antioxidant benefits. Delicately perfumed with orange flower absolute to add a little sunniness to your day. Japanese rapeseed is grown by a small collective of farmers in the Fukushima nuclear disaster area in Japan, where the plant is able to regenerate the land by cleansing the soil of radiation and securing the community with a future.

Loving Japan the way I do, how could I not try this soap. And I am also contributing to an amazing project: helping rebuild Fukushima.
The soap has a very light smell, a bit like baby products. The lather is gel-like. But it feels so luxurious against the skin. The soap's consistency is squidgy and it is a bit darker than the picture. I broke a piece off it instead of using it at once. These gourmet soaps are awesome ! I hope Lush makes different ones ! Great concept!

I like how creamy this feels, it doesn't leave skin dry either. Smells nice but I'm not sure how long this will last, it seems to be VERY soft. I've had to cut it in half and put some in the fridge which isn't ideal. It seems to be melting easily on my side too and I've only used it twice. Wonderful idea/support behind it - so cannot fault that at all, just doesn't seem like a long lasting soap which is a shame. Not sure I'd repurchase given how soft it is, the packing peanuts around it had partially dissolved and were stuck to the soap upon opening, that's how soft it is.
