Square Tin

No more melting moments

A tin to treasure your body butter on your travels. If you keep your body butters in the shower, you'll notice they may look a little less beautiful than when you first bought them. Don't hold it against them: they are made of shea and cocoa butters, after all, which do tend to soften under hot water. Allow to dry, then pop in this tin.

I've bought the square tin to put my shampoo bar in it and it is just great! At first i wanted to buy the round one, but an employee in the shop said this one would be better. I've put some baking Paper on the bottom and i let the bar dry before putting it in the tin. Easily to...

This is so frustrating! I love Lush products but for a soap company to not have worked out the perfect way to store their products is really disappointing. I've persevered with several soaps/tins:
1. They need a ridged base or grill insert to drain water and allow soap to dry properly
2. The metal has rusted on several tins
3. They are difficult to open with wet hands
Please can you try harder? There must be a better (non plastic) alternative than this!!

I started using this summer the "Sunblock". I live in Kansas, US, and have extremely fair Irish/Scottish skin. I'm basically white as a sheet. I keep most of my Lush massage bars/body butters in a large mason jar and they have never melted. I also keep my Full of Grace, Goth Fairy, No Trouble, and Twilight Sparkle Jar in my medicine cabinet and they, too, have not melted. However I have noticed my Sunblock is just a smidgen more sensitive to heat. And, well, it's Kansas. And the bathroom gets kind of muggy, especially post-showering. I use one of these square tins to store mine!
