Kinshasa Lipstick Refill
Talk about staying power! This shade is seriously pigmented so will last long after happy hour! Use an oil based cleanser like Ultrabland to remove.
Tones of redwood and brick red combine to create a ruby red shade. A softening, comfortable colour, this demi-matte, cruelty-free vegan lipstick provides a dose of quenching hydration thanks to its candelilla wax and jojoba oil base.
How to use
To use this naked wax refill, hold at the base and peel up using the black tab. Remove the black wax portion on the bottom, and slot into an empty lipstick container (wipe out any remaining lippie first with a clean cloth!) Then simply remove the rest of the peelable wax, and voila! At the moment you can't use our naked refills with Lush lipstick packaging, but watch this space...
What’s inside counts
Broccoli, great in salad, better in lipstick! Grown in Poland, broccoli seeds are cold-pressed to produce a flavourless oil that is rich in fatty acids, making it perfect for hydrating and conditioning lips.

I kinda fell out of love with lush in 2015 when they discontinued so many of my staple products, but the naked lipsticks brought me back. I love the idea of being able to buy refills on their own! It was a little fiddly but it did fit in an empty drugstore lipstick container! And the colour is fantastic. I went in store with what was left of a current everyday lipstick and swatched them all to compare. (A lovely assistant also managed to show me a newer version of my old favourite Decisive - los angeles) This was just what I was looking for for an everyday red.Read More

I have a medium dark skin tone and Kinshasa is a very nice brick red colour when applied. What I don't like about these new Lush lipsticks is the fact that you have to fiddle around with them because of the fact that you have to put them in the lipstick casing yourself. Removing the black part of the wax layer that covers the lower part of these lipsticks is actually quite easy but after I put the lipstick in the case and removed the rest of the wax layer my fingers where totally covered in lipstick.Read More
