In 2011, Minamisoma, a small city in Fukushima prefecture in northern Japan was hit by the Tohoku earthquake. Most of its residents were evacuated and over five years later, in 2016, the residents were allowed to move back. In place of their ruined rice crops, the locals began growing crops of rapeseed instead. Rapeseed plants remove cesium from the soil and their seeds are turned into oil which is radiation free and safe to use. Fukushima rapeseed oil is used in this shower oil to help skin feel softened and moisturised. Lemon juice, bergamot and olibanum oils give a warm, sunny citrus scent while kinako powder, a flour made from roasted soy beans leaves skin smelling sweet.
Shower oils provide a mild cleanse, perfect for gentle types, or can be used as the last step in your routine to give skin a moisturising boost. Simply stroke over the body and rinse away for soft and strokable skin.

This smells SO good - like sherbet lemons or lemon yoghurt, the perfect mix of sweet and refreshing. Really uplifting in a morning! I found it a bit softer and meltier than coco loco (I haven't tried the oil shower oils yet), but I step out of the shower stream to apply which stops it melting too quickly. It spreads...

If you're not at risk of mastitis (very painful inflamed/infected breast tissue generally from producing breast milk) all you need to know is this is beautiful, smells lovely and keeps skin soft for days. If you are a pregnant or have just had a baby you should buy this. This is a long story so sorry about that. I don't often review products unless it's the worst thing ever or has changed my life, this is the second.Read More

I have to have at least one back up of this in at all times. It smells so fresh and fruity sweet. I don't know why I always smell things that aren't in the ingredients list, but to me it smells of Mango??? This lasts me at least 25 applications on my arms and legs. I apply it directly on to freshly showered wet skin and rub it in. Then a very light rinse and air dry. So worth the small cost, I'm delighted with this ittle gem!

This smells absolutely divine and I did get a good few showers out of it whilst waiting for my one true love Easy Peeler to come back in stock. It's hard to hold onto in a hot shower and can get VERY melty in hot weather and for me it had a bit of a tendency to sit on my skin rather than soaking in sometimes, but it definitely smoothed out the dry skin on my knees and elbows.
