Having used the liquid version for years I was so excited when I heard that there was a solid version! Having not used solid shower gel before was a bit surprised at how soft it is which makes it a bit messy to store (Hence the 4 stars not 5) but it smells just as good as the liquid, leaving...

I am a long time lover of Lush, and when trying to find a zero-waste shower gel alternative (besides quite drying soap), they were my natural go-to. I love the scent and moisturising properties of this product, it really is a joy to use in the shower and leaves my skin feeling pretty soft, so much so that I haven't need to moisturise my winter skin twice as much. However, like the other reviews have mentioned, this product is really soft and gets used up quickly.

I really love the smell of this shower gel and the product lathers really well. This is my first time using a solid shower gel. Iwas a little surprised at how soft the bar is, it leaves a bit of a mess in the shower and I'll definitely need to keep it in it's own soap dish to dry. I did find the size a bit awkward so I cut mine in half to manage it better in the shower, but it's kind of nice having one half stored away for later use.

A solid shower gel (different ingredients to soap bar) seems like a great idea as it's packaging-free, The actual product is fine, left feeling clean and fresh - but sometimes a little residuey like the feeling of using a really cheap bar soap. But the biggest downfall with these products is the 'lid' design on the bar, the black stuff used is waxy and sticky and stains your hands and bathroom tiles/plastic. Would happily buy again if it was just a plain bar with no sticky black stuff.
